"I've been very happy with
my Ionic Breeze. I will be keeping my Ionic Breeze. I ordered it last year when
we had the horrendous fires in southern California. I live 15 miles from the forest
fires in the San Bernardino Mountains. The smoke and ash was awful and I have
six exotic parrots in my home. I was very concerned about lung damage and even

I have six Sharper Image Ionic Breeze air purifiers. I used to have the Quadra
and now have the top of the line model with Germicidal Protection. I love them!
I used them to relieve problems from the fires we had about a year or two ago,
burnt popcorn in my suite, allergies, dust, etc. They have helped me breathe easier.
When I don't use them, I know the difference. I have told Sharper Image I like
them so much that if they ever want an ad from me - they can have it. I just recently
got the sixth one to put in my office. What a difference!
I don't know
what is with Consumer Reports. I have usually respected them in
the past, but did get burned on some of their recommended products. Under any
other situation, I would have taken their word on these air purifiers, but just
can't square it with what I know personally. When I clean them, you can just see
the level of dirt they collect.
I haven't had any asthma problems and
I believe they have reduced my propensity to catch colds.

"The Ionic Breeze I use in my bedroom is the only thing
that makes it possible for me to sleep, especially in the summer. I live in an
apartment in the busiest part of Honolulu in a building is not wired for air conditioning.
Since it is so noisy and dirty outside, so many smells come in. I have to keep
the bedroom window closed 24 hours a day every day of the year. In the hot summer
it would be unbearable without my Ionic Breeze.
I cannot stand to have
a fan blowing on me and noise bothers me. The Ionic Breeze emits just a tiny cool
breeze and makes the air breathable and does not make any noise. Sleep would be
impossible without your product. I have spoken to several people who use one and
they are almost religious in their praise of it.
I got mine in 2000 to
use in an apartment I as renting. The cigarette smoke from other apartments was

Breeze to reduce the odor in the cat and kitten shelter. Odor reduction is important
in a shelter. We are open to the public and want to be sure the shelter smells
as good as it can. It is kept in the main room where there are 30-40 cats. The
odor has significantly improved! The silent operation is a very nice feature.
As a non-profit, we would rather spend our money on the cats rather than giving
it to the electric company, so the energy efficiency is valuable to us. Because

My apartment
is dust central. There are planes flying by, cars all over the place, general
pollutants in the air. It's not comfortable always being stuffy and congested
with itchy eyes and a runny nose. Feeling better is by far the number one priority.

"Breathing is believing! Thanks to The Sharper Image I can breathe
again. For countless years, organizations and employees have been suffering in
silence from health issues related to poor ventilation, allergens and paper/carpet
dust year after year. We work in environments beyond our control and technically
spend most of our waking hours in doors with co-workers who are oftentimes pet
owners and sometimes smokers who unfortunately bring their dander and other irritants

I have a weird allergy and chemical sensitivity (developed by

"I ordered your product
The Professional Ionic Breeze just over a month ago. I ordered the unit because
my wife would wake up sneezing and coughing at night. We have a half Collie half
Labrador as a family pet. Since the pet dander seemed to be a factor, I purchased
the unit. Three days after the purchase, my wife no longer woke up sneezing.
I removed the grill after just three days of use and found out what we both had
been breathing in. I was shocked to see what was collected even though I had it

"I just wanted to let you know
how wonderful your Ionic Breeze is. I have been using a Quadra for several years,
and have a few of them around my house. I also occasionally smoke small cigars
and no one has ever been able to detect the odor that is left by tobacco smoke.
Last month I was taken in by Oreck's Infomercial and I ordered one. What a mistake!
First, there is a small area to place a special fragrance tab, which
is optional. Second, in order to clean the air there is a charcoal filter, which
is optional. I questioned this arrangement because I thought it was a self-defeating
feature-unless the charcoal can distinguish between good and bad odors. Third
the collection grid is difficult to clean and you cannot clean between the grid
plates because that's where the electrostatic wires are delicately placed. My
Oreck broke in three days!
I called the company, and they were prompt
in sending another collection grid, but by the time it arrived, I had decided
to return it because it just did not measure up to my Quadra. Consumer Reports
is wrong! In my experience, the Ionic Breeze Quadra is the best."

"The Ionic Breeze Quadra is one
of the best things I could have bought. I live in a two bedroom, two bath condominium.
I have two Units one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I have noticed
that I sleep a lot better now that I have gotten the units. When I get home from
work there is no smell at all — just clean air. I clean the collection grids
once a week with a damp cloth. I am still amazed on how much stuff I get off the
collection grids each time. I have no problem letting people smoke in the house
during a party because I know the units will clear all of the smoke smell away
by the next afternoon, if not by the time I wake up. I am planning on getting
one of the Professional Series GP units here in the near future before the cold
and flu season. I will also be giving a few of the Professional GP units out as

with the Ionic Breeze Quadra are so gratifying that I wanted to pass these comments
along to you.
I have been plagued by severe allergic rhinitis. This problem
is compounded by the fact that I also have sleep apnea. Maintaining an open nose
is absolutely essentially since I am totally dependent on a constant positive
alveolar pressure breathing machine (CPAP). About a year ago I acquired the Ionic
Breeze Quadra. Since that time I have been completely relieved of significant

Last fall we here in San Diego County experienced the worst fires
ever recorded for this area. My husband and I were evacuated for five days as
the Cedar Fire blazed all around our home. We knew our home was still standing
but we figured it would be permanently damaged due to smoke problems. When we
were finally let back into the area and had electricity restored, we plugged in
the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze, took down all the curtains, drapes, etc., washed
all the sheets, pillows, etc., and started vacuuming and washing walls, etc. The
inside of our home smelled like a damp camp fire had been lit and put out inside
it. We had to literally wash the filter of the Ionic Breeze several times a day
because it was filtering so much smoke, soot and ash!
By the time our
insurance agent came to assess the damage the next week, our house only had the

Six months later the

"I'm calling about the under-advertising
of the Ionic Breeze. It came on TV one day. I called and ordered it. It got here
and sat in the living room unplugged for 3 or 4 months. Then finally, I thought

There's

"Hello...just a note to tell you how great this product is. I purchased two units
in 2003 for our 2700 sq. ft home as my wife has two indoor cats and I was concerned
about pet dander with my electronic equipment. After about 6 months we decided
to sell our home and the purchasers required that an air quality sample be preformed
in the home. Both my wife and I were shocked when the readings came back...the
testing company said that the air quality in our home was lower than the readings
they get for sterile rooms, and this is with two cats roaming about the house.
I know that the low readings were the result of the Ionic Breeze units we have.
While from cleaning the units I knew that the Ionic Breeze was cleaning our air,

for the Ionic Breeze and they looked like they worked really well. A friend of
mine has one and he said it works great.
We are using the IB in the Mix
96 Tulsa radio studio which gets really dusty. We have lots of people in a small
studio. When one DJ gets sick, others usually follow.
The unit is totally
quiet and we can't figure out how it blows out clean air without a fan! I've noticed
a definite "cleaner" smell and I haven't been sneezing or coughing as much lately.

purifier, which was rather large and very noisy. I only had one, and I had it

the Ionic Breeze GP in the living room now, which is where we spend most of our
time. It's awesome, for lack of a better word. I now own four Ionic Breezes, and
three of the small Ionic Breezes. I have the other Breezes in the bedroom, kitchen,
and the hallway. I keep two of the small ones in the bathrooms, and I bought a
third one for work. I work in `cube' city, and if someone gets a cold, we all
seem to get it. I think the Ionic Breeze on my desk is helpful for the air in
my space.
I love them, and will not be without an Ionic Breeze ever again.

living in Beijing, a city with some of the worst pollution on Earth. Between the
thick smog and dust that blows in from Mongolia, it is not exactly the prime destination

"I used to wake up every morning and the first thing I'd have to do is blow my
nose. I am also a smoker so if I had to close my windows, for whatever reason
(rain or cold), when I light up, there was always a cloud of smoke in my home.
Since the majority of my friends and family are non-smokers, this always presented
a problem.
I ordered two Ionic Breeze units; one for the living room,
downstairs and one for my bedroom, upstairs. I have to say that when the units
are clean, they work exactly as advertised. But as a smoker, the collection grids
get dirty quickly and require cleaning a lot more often than I was prepared for.
Once the units start getting dirty, they do begin to make noise. And finally,
for a smoker, cleaning the collection grids is a bit more than simply wiping a
damp sponge. While it's no great task, it is a bit more difficult than advertised.
Don't get me wrong here. It takes me all of five minutes to clean both of my units.
I'm just saying (for a smoker) it takes a bit more than one swipe with a damp
sponge.
However, this is a small price to pay for the benefits I've garnered.
Regardless of what I'm cooking, I always have clean, fresh air. I can smoke a
cigarette and not have the usual cloud of lingering smoke (which offends my non-smoking
friends and family to no end). No longer do I have to open a window in the middle
of winter to let 'fresh air' in and clear out the smoke, so not only do I save
money by not having to buy air filters, I also save money on home heating costs.
If you cook or smoke (I happen to do both), the Ionic Breeze is absolutely
essential."

"When my wife
and I bought two Ionic Breeze GP Silent Air Purifiers we were hoping to get comparable
results to the noisy HEPA filters we were using. I was getting tired of replacing
expensive filters, and the noise and inconvenience of the big, clunky things was
irritating us both. We stuck the two filters in our den and our bedroom, 'hiding'
them in out-of-the-way corners. Other than the total silence, we didn't notice
any real difference right away.
We were afraid the bluish light from
the germicidal lamp might bother us in the bedroom, so we left it turned off the
first few nights. Within a week, we started forgetting to turn it off at night,
and now it's our only night light.
We were both surprised at how easy
it was to clean, and how infrequently it needed to be cleaned. The real test of
the filters came when the winds blew the smoke from wildfires in Arizona across
our area for nearly a week. At times the visibility was less than three miles!

"Your Ionic Breeze Quadra Silent Air Purifier
is simply a miracle. I am an American schoolteacher living in Jakarta Indonesia,
where I have been working for the last 6 years. After another grueling wet season
in Jakarta, which lasts from October through May, I finally gave in and purchased
your Ionic Breeze Silent Air Purifier. I hand-carried it back to Jakarta just
6 weeks ago at the start of another school year at Jakarta International School.
I use the Ionic Breeze only when sleeping at nights, between the hours
of 10 PM and 5:30 AM, AND with the air conditioner on. Per the instructions that
came with the unit to clean the unit every two weeks, I have diligently removed
and cleaned the inner unit twice now. What has collected on the metal panels is
unbelievable...a thick, black sooty deposit that resembles coal dust — and
after only two weeks of intermittent use! But I must report another most amazing
observation with the Ionic Breeze. When I walk into my bedroom at night (my maid
turns the unit on an hour before I go to bed), the air in the bedroom (about 12'

We recently ordered two Ionic Breeze
Quadras for our home. We need to keep the air cleaned. We have had Oreck Air Cleaners
for the past 10 years, and, they did some ionization via a small pin in the unit,
but cleaning was a nightmare and frequent.
The purchase was a big one-but-what's
the old saying? You get what you pay for! We are delighted with these units. The
air is crisp and clean, even after a night of my hubby's linguine with white clam
sauce, made with about 20 cloves of garlic! They are remarkably easy to clean,
and seeing the difference between the two types of units is just phenomenal. Thank
you for yet another great Sharper Image product!
Regarding customer service.
We had a bit of a "mix-up" on ordering, where we purchased the two at once, and
were offered a $50.00 rebate if we paid the huge total up front (which we did).
It wound up being a merchandise certificate — which I found out when I tried
to deposit it in the bank (yes, I felt quite the idiot)! So, we just dealt with
it.
I just placed a call to your customer service. line. I was on-line
to shop with the certificate, and we purchased the Cuisinart Grind 'N Brew coffeemaker.
I asked, because of the mix-up, if the shipping might be waved. Julie was the
service rep's name, and she is to be highly commended for her kindness, understanding
and generosity. Please give her a pat on the back-she is doing her job well. Not

"Every year at the beginning of spring, I would suffer from allergy symptoms and
would eventually get allergy bronchitis. And it has been going on for several
years now.
At the beginning of spring this year, my husband decided to
buy and try the Quadra. We've seen it on TV and we were wondering whether it is
as good as they say it is on the TV ad. We ordered it over the phone and received
it a few days later. For the first time in many years, my daughter and I did not
suffer from allergy symptoms.
In the past, every time we would go to

"I was suffering
with a super-mold allergy I deduce came from the houses still molding away from
last year's big Houston flood, and also bronchitis, from late May onwards. I ordered
your Ionic Breezes (two) in mid-June, but had to leave town for my visit home
to southwestern Colorado. As you may have heard, we had bad wildfires, not five
miles from the house. The smoke would come into the house every night, and creep
into the bedroom in spite of having the door shut the whole time. I was really
suffering.
When my husband came up to join me a week and a half later,
I told him to bring up the small bathroom purifiers that came with the big ones.
Changing these out in the bedroom made a huge difference in the air quality, even
though they were small. When I wiped down the collectors, the black soot they
picked up was very apparent. It made for much better nights, especially after

"I have three cats and two dogs and my husband and I live
in a townhouse development in which new construction is continuing. Needless to
say in addition to the inside activity, we also deal with a lot of dirt and dust
from the construction. Since moving to the area, one of my cats has had terrible
allergies. Since he has such a hard time breathing, I've been taking him the vet's
office to get an injection once every two weeks. That helps, but it's expensive
and he gets car sick riding in the car. So that's not fun for any of us.

"I originally considered the Quadra for my basement. The previous
owner of my condo had four cats and kept their uncovered litter box in the basement
next to the furnace and a/c unit; whenever the humidity gets high, the old ammonia
odor seems to weep from the concrete floor and unfinished drywall. I'd tried every
product on the market, scrubbing the area over and over again, plus various baking
soda concoctions and deodorizer sprays.
Before I got around to placing
my order, my housemate moved out, leaving behind heavy smoking odor in her bedroom
(which is 14' X 12', with a 20-foot high cathedral ceiling). I ended up buying
my first two Quadras in preparation for a visit by my highly allergic mother.
In just a few hours, I was amazed how clean the room smelled (I'd thought I might
have to replace the less-than-year-old carpet before the room was usable again).
As the smoke odor cleared, I moved one Quadra to the basement and was

"The only reason I bought a couple of the
Ionic Breeze GP units is because my 10-year-old Siberian Husky has a bad case

"I suffer from severe seasonal allergies, and I was looking for a
way to relieve them. As a college student, I spend a lot of time in my bedroom
studying so this seemed like the perfect investment. I spent some time looking
at the HEPA filters and they are very expensive and the cost of the replacement
filters is no better.
I originally saw the Ionic Breeze on an infomercial
and I was sold from that point on. I looked at the other filters to be fair to
the market, but I went back to the Ionic Breeze. I ordered the Ionic Breeze and
received it President's Day weekend. I took it out of the box, plugged it in and
within hours I noticed a difference. I started to sleep better that night and
it just got better and better. There is a definite feeling of clean within the
four walls of my bedroom.
What I have also noticed is that my allergies
have gotten better. I take less medication and therefore I feel better. I wake
up in the morning and I don't wake up all stuffed up. It is a miracle. My grades
on my tests have improved significantly and I find it easier to stay awake during
class. I also sleep deeper because I am not breathing all of that stuff.

and I have both suffered pretty bad from allergies. I'm here to tell you that
we both definitely breathe and sleep better at night with the Ionic Breeze.
Believe it or not, I still hang my clothes on a line outside, but during the spring
season, it was horrible. I'd bring in our clothes and I would sneeze the whole
time I folded and put them away. That never happens now.
We have two
grown children in the LA area and we have given them each an Ionic Breeze. You
should see the muck their air cleaners collect. Our older son and his wife tossed
the air cleaner they had, since it was big, noisy, and bulky. Yet that noisy,
bulky, inefficient, and ineffective air cleaner rated higher in your article that
the Ionic Breeze. Their allergies have cleared up tremendously since they began
using the Ionic Breeze and they sleep better and don't inhale all those LA fumes.
In February 2001, we got another Ionic Breeze for our dining/kitchen
area since that's where we spend a lot of time. It's quiet, you don't know it's
there, and again, we're breathing clean air. This past month I decided to spring
— clean our 21 year-old son's bedroom. I was shocked to see how much dust
and grime was on the drapes, computer, stereo, pictures, and walls. I took the
Ionic Breeze from the kitchen and put it in his room. Within 20 minutes, I heard
crackling sounds. I pulled out the filter and it was loaded with dust. The guck
it accumulated in 20 minutes was much more than the amount that accumulates on
a weekly basis on the one we have in our bedroom. Well, we missed the Ionic Breeze
in the dining/kitchen area so we bought another one.
So before you publish
your "findings", perhaps you should be sure of the facts and ask product users
for their opinion. I sure hope your article didn't hurt the sales of The Sharper
Image and the Ionic Breeze, but I've lost faith in your magazine. We remain loyal
supporters of the Ionic Breeze."

"Indoor air pollution
is a serious problem and I have been concerned about it myself since both me and
my children spend so much time indoors.
There are many sources of indoor
air pollution in any home. Building materials and furnishings as diverse as deteriorated,
asbestos — containing insulation, wet or damp carpet, and cabinetry or furniture
made of certain pressed wood products; products for household cleaning and maintenance,
personal care, or hobbies; central heating and cooling systems and humidification
devices; and outdoor sources such as radon, pesticides, and outdoor air pollution.
Ventilation is a big problem. Homes that are designed and constructed to minimize
the amount of outdoor air that can "leak" into and out of the home may have higher
pollutant levels than other homes. I live in a newly constructed home that is
totally polluted. New carpet, fresh varnish on the wood, new paint, new furnishings,
etc. It is no wonder I have had to deal with health problems this last year.
There is no doubt that indoor air pollution is a problem. But if you do want to
try some kind of filtration system, which one is best?
I purchased two
compact Ionic Breeze air purifiers because Sharper Image had a special deal on
their web site. I put one upstairs and one downstairs. The smell of ozone was
so minimal I could hardly smell it! I was very relieved! I have a SUPER sensitive
nose and am bothered by odors of any kind. I am known in my home as "the nose".
I can smell something before it enters the room and believe me; this is not always
a good thing. The Ionic Breeze did not stink in the least and I could barely smell
the ozone. I had to stand right over it to even get a light scent of ozone. The
Ionic Breeze passed the first test.
Then there was the possibility of
being annoyed by "noise". The Ionic Breeze is more than quiet. Quiet hardly describes
the sound that the Ionic Breeze makes. THERE IS NO SOUND! This air purifier uses
only 15 watts of energy, the same amount that a night-light uses. Other purifiers
that use noisy fans can run up your electricity bill as well as bug you with more
noise. I don't know about you, but there is enough noise in my house already.
Needless to say, I LOVE the Ionic Breeze. It filters the air and does
a great job. Oh, and if you cook fish or another strong smelling food, your house
will not stink for 24 hours. You can walk in your house and it does not have any
scent of the food you may have prepared hours before.
This is what I
LOVE about the Ionic Breeze:
No noise. You can leave it in your room
and you won't hear a sound. It has three levels. You can run it on low, medium
or high. If you cook and your house gets stinky, you can put it on high and it
gets rid of the odor quick.
NO FILTERS! This is important because over
the course of a few years, regular air purifiers can cost a small fortune. With
the Ionic Breeze, you just slide out the collection blade and wipe it off. Plus,
the compact Quadra comes with an extra collection blade. You can wash one and
pop the other one in the Quadra while the one you cleaned is drying. Since I bought
two compact Ionic Breeze Quadras, I got two extra filters (collection plates).
You will be surprised what you see on the collection blade after only
two weeks! When I cleaned mine it had sticky residue on it. That is the stuff
my family and I would have been breathing! Yuck. Oh, and if you like to burn candles
in your home, you MUST get one of these air filters. In fact, there is a sticker
on the Quadra that says you must clean the filter/collection plate after EVERY
TIME you burn candles in your home because candles put heavy particulates in the
air. Normally you only clean the plates once every 2-3 weeks but when candles
are burned, the filter must be cleaned right after. When I think of all the candles
I burned over the holidays, I can only imagine all the gunk my family and I were
breathing in. I have stopped burning candles by the way. I had no idea how bad
they were. If I ever get daring and throw caution to the wind and light my candles
again, at least now I have an air filter that will take care of the problem.

"We already had two cats, but when
we gained another three cats when Mom moved in with us, we knew we were going
to need an air purifier. My husband kept insisting we get the Ionic Breeze Quadra
Silent Air Purifier but the price tag made me question if it was really going
to be worth it. Then at Christmas, he purchased it (we got the 1/2 price offer
and gave one to his brother), and along with it came two small plug — in
Ionic Breezes. It is so lightweight that it is easy to move it from room to room,
and it is silent as your ad claims! The scent that comes from it is refreshing.
It is also easy to maintain. But the greatest thing about these air purifiers
is that they really do work!
We placed one of the small plug-in units
just above the kitty litter boxes in the laundry room, and if you walk into the
room, you wouldn't even know we have a cat — let alone 5 — unless
you see the litter boxes and cat food sitting there! This is helpful since the
laundry room is right next to our basement, which I use for home — schooling
and as a guest room, and there is no open window for circulation! I just want
to say thank you very much. They are worth it, but I still wish they were less

"I loved my old Ionic Breeze,
and so I know I'll love my new Quadra! The number one reason I loved it was that
it quickly eliminated cooking odors, which would otherwise linger for several
days. Plus, it also removes unpleasant odors we "learn to live with," and thus
don't notice, but others can quickly detect.
I first learned about ionic
air purification technology several years ago when I checked into a motel room
that heavily reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Forced to stay there because all
the other motels in the area were full, the manager installed an ionic air purifier
in my room. Several of us then went to dinner, and when we returned a couple of
hours later, I was amazed at the difference that little unit made!
Being
too cheap to buy more than one unit, I used to carry the old one down into the
basement once a month or so to remove the stale basement odor that builds up due
to non-moving air. I also used it for a day once in a used vehicle I bought to
eliminate the smell of stale cigarette smoke, which still lingered, even after
replacing the headliner and carpeting, and shampooing the upholstery.
What else can I say? Your product works! It's silent, attractive and effective.

"I've suffered from sinus problems for quite a few years
and when we moved into our current house about two years ago, we immediately noticed
how dusty it always seemed to be. Allergen air filters in the furnace and air
returns didn't seem to help much. While we were Christmas shopping shortly after

"I cannot explain to you all that transpired,
but I'll start with this. For some reason a month or so before the World Trade
Center attacks, I was obsessed with purchasing your Quadra Ionic Breeze air purifiers
(I ordered direct by phone) for myself and my parents who live in Florida —
my father was waiting for major sinus surgery and suffering amidst molds and allergens.
Anyway, I live across the street from the World Trade Center in a studio
apartment. Granted, I was at the Trade Center trying to vote seconds before the
first plane hit, but ran for a train and made it to work in White Plains —
unharmed, but homeless.
But where you come in, is the fact that I had
left the air conditioner running full blast that morning — along with my
two Quadra purifiers (I really didn't need two, but I was selfishly using the
second one before it was time to give it to a friend). The electricity didn't
blow out until the second tower fell — meaning the continuous flow of the
towers' ash was sucked into my apartment through the a/c for a long time. Obviously,
my apartment wasn't as devastated as apartments with open windows, but nonetheless,
ash, rocks, and debris had to be removed from my a/c coils after the fact. And
I was thrilled to learn the Quadra has a built-in surge protector!
I
was homeless for two months. But during that time, while the electricity was out,
I had to climb 30 flights to my apartment to retrieve clothing. But what I noticed
the first time I walked into my apartment was how fresh it smelled! The building
reeked of rotten food and death — so I could hardly believe it! When we
were allowed to move back — even though we had to have the apartments professionally
cleaned because of the ash — I was astonished at the amount of ash the two
Quadras had collected! I have attached photos I took while cleaning the filters
to show the amount built up. It was like peeling off carpeting! My purifiers worked
overtime!
But it doesn't stop there. After we were allowed to move home
again, we still get sore throats just walking to our building — and have
to shake our shoes off in the hallway. What would normally take a month to build
up on a Quadra filter now builds up in just a few days! My two machines are saving
my life! Cleaning the mess off the filters actually makes me feel good —
because it isn't going into my lungs!
The rental insurance companies told
our landlords to provide the tenants with air purifiers to prevent recontamination
from the air. When I received my "freebie" the building provided, I discovered
what a piece of junk they'd given us (another brand). First, it makes noise like
a truck; second, you have to change expensive filters; third, it does nothing
with odor, and fourth, it takes up space! But it DOES blow you against the wall
— that I'll give it! (I put mine next to the toilet where it belongs!)
When the EPA air samplers were testing apartments, I grabbed the guys with their
machines and had them sample my apartment. They said mine was GOOD! Then they
saw my Quadra purifiers and said, "That's probably the reason — those are
really great." It confirmed that this is the first major investment I've made
for myself (and my parents) that I truly can say keeps me healthy! My father said
he didn't think he would've made it until sinus surgery without the Quadras I
sent him. Also, my mother thinks the improved air quality makes a difference in
her attitude toward the house. (I also use the mini-bathroom version by my small

"In March of 2001, my daughter decided to order an Ionic Breeze because of her
allergy to something in her home. When she called to place her order, she was
informed that she could order a second Ionic Breeze at half price "with her first
one. She didn't need two, but called me to see if I'd like to buy the second one.
I have seen the advertisements on TV many times and wished I could afford
one, but due to my financial situation, could not. So she knew my thoughts about
the Ionic Breeze.
As it happened, I had a one-year-old granddaughter
in the hospital pediatric intensive care unit at that time. The entire family
was terribly concerned because this little girl was so sick so much and this time,
no one could seem to help her.
She was finally put onto 100% oxygen,
as her blood didn't have enough oxygen. She didn't get better. This little girl
was born with terrible allergies. The pediatrician had put her on allergy medication
when she was just two months old. But it didn't seem to help. Her breathing was
very shallow. She was at the doctor's office nearly every other week. First tried
one thing and then tried something else. When she would be fed her bottle, she
would suck frantically and then stop and breath because she couldn't do both.
When she was old enough to start food, she had trouble eating because she couldn't
swallow fast enough to get the food out of the way for the air to go through.
Thus she would choke.
So when my daughter called about the second Ionic
Breeze, I didn't hesitate. I told her an emphatic "Yes!" I didn't buy it for myself.
I bought it for my granddaughter.
The day she was finally able to leave
the hospital, the Ionic Breeze arrived. My son and his wife brought the little
girl over for us to see how much better she was. I gave them the Ionic Breeze.
I wish you could have seen the look on their faces. Come to find out, they had
also seen your TV ads and were wishing they could afford one. About two weeks
after giving them the Ionic Breeze, I asked them if they could tell the difference
yet. They were so excited to tell me what changes had taken place since they had
plugged in the Ionic Breeze.
The little girl was now breathing deeper.
She was not having her allergy symptoms. She was eating without choking. They
also commented about the clearness and sharpness of the air in their home. My
granddaughter still has her allergies. But she hasn't had to see the doctor every
other week. In fact, she has only had a couple of spells since March. These spells
were lighter than any she'd had before and quickly tended to. No more hospital
stays.
I am so happy to see my little granddaughter growing up healthy.

I purchased my first Ionic Breeze Quadra Silent Air Purifier in 2002 after an
